Struxure®Struxure is IHS Intermat Solutions' catalog authoring and management software tool. It provides the content management functionality to develop and maintain accurate and consistent MRO item descriptions. These descriptions in turn become the basis for creating part records in the customer's MRO catalog.
Struxure is built to take maximum advantage of the Standard Modifier Dictionary™ (SMD™), the world's most comprehensive and widely used standard for the description of MRO data. Struxure's powerful parts management features include item creation and maintenance tools, list-making capabilities, standard and custom reporting features, global standardization, and integration with ERP/EAM/MDM systems. In addition, Struxure incorporates the ability to store and display attachments such as graphics, documents and Web-links.
Struxure includes advanced catalog search functionality, which enables users to browse and locate inventory by item description or by a series of references such as vendor, plant, commodity code, UNSPSC/eCl@ss code, and status.
Additionally, Struxure facilitates database management by allowing users to update and expand line-item parameters globally, while maintaining the consistency and integrity of their catalog database. For example, if in one record the characteristic value "stainless steel" is changed to "SS", that modification can be changed throughout the database within the appropriate context.
Struxure supports a distributed workforce by facilitating mass deployment of, and access to, MRO catalogs. Struxure is a Microsoft®.NET, Web-based software application providing a "zero footprint" installation throughout an organization. And Struxure has certified integrations and/or connectors to many leading EAM and MDM systems, such as SAP , IBM Maximo, and many others (see System Integration & Compatibility section below).

System Integration and Compatibility
Struxure is compatible with the leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Master Data Management (MDM) systems, including SAP® Materials Management (MM) module, SAP Service and Asset Management, SAP MDM, IBM/MRO Software Maximo®, Mincom®, Ventyx Asset Suite (Indus Passport™), Oracle (PeopleSoft®/JDE), Infor/Datastream, AssetPoint/TabWare, and many others. Both Struxure and SMD have integrations certified for SAP NetWeaver®.
