CE Franklin maintained a 50,000 item catalog on its JD Edwards One World enterprise software.

Mead Streamlines Inventory Operations at Box Plants
The Mead Corporation, a $3.8 billion forest products company, wanted to increase the efficiency of its seven box assembly plants. "We decided to use a common catalog to streamline the purchasing process and leverage our buying power." Mead chose Intermat to standardize and catalog spare parts at all of the plants. "Once the database was up and running, we should be able to cut the purchasing cycle in half."

OxyChem Creates Corporate Inventory Database
