July 3, 2006

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) selected Alien Technology Corp. radio frequency identification (RFID) products and services to supply the Alaska Center for Supply Chain Integration (ACSI) contract with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

This effort supports the DLA, military service and combatant command sites providing business process reengineering and technical services related to the analysis, design, implementation and support of RFID-enabled supply chain management processes.

Initial deployment sites include:

  • The Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin (DDJC), Calif.
  • Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
  • Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
