Dassault Systèmes (DS) announced availability of ENOVIA MatrixOne 10.7.1, which is targeted at the semiconductor, apparel, aerospace and defense and medical device industries.
It is based on the ENOVIA product lifecycle management (PLM) service-oriented architecture (SOA) enterprise data warehouse infrastructure and middleware, collaborative business process applications and industry-specific accelerators to speed delivery of products to market.
ENOVIA PLM SOA applications can be used in multiple industries and are accessible to any enterprise user.
ENOVIA MatrixOne 10.7.1 delivers industry-focused enhancements to its accelerator solutions, including semiconductor design data management, apparel design and development, aerospace and defense program management and medical devices, DS said.
The tool offers collaborative business process applications as well as program management, classification and materials compliance management.
According to DS, this product supports its strategy to target and support 11 vertical industries, inline with the delivery of 3DLive, a DS program for online collaborative intelligence. MatrixOne 10.7.1 can be used with DS 3DLive to search, navigate and collaborate online, which makes product intellectual property available to everybody involved in PLM activities.
ENOVIA PLM SOA middleware supports DS as well as non-DS PLM applications. Customers in businesses of any size can use ENOVIA PLM SOA middleware to integrate collaborative business processes into other SOA environments.
It offers connectivity and interacts with existing legacy or enterprise solutions, federating information from multiple sources, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and product data management (PDM), according to DS.
