Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet Inc., reached a distribution agreement with Lowry Computer Products Inc. to include Lowry thermal transfer radio frequency identification (RFID) labels in its enterprise mobility offerings for system integrators, embedded original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and value-added reseller (VAR) partners.

The Avnet enterprise mobility team helps partners develop and implement custom enterprise mobility solutions encompassing hardware, software, cellular activation and integration services.

The agreement adds Lowry advanced Smart Trac labels with generation 2 tag inlays to Avnet products for supply chain case and pallet labeling applications.

"Avnet realizes the critical nature of RFID labels in supply chain applications and has chosen a supplier whose labels provide enhanced security, work well in dense reader environments and use frequency and power in a way that complies with most regulatory environments globally," said Michael Douglass, vice president, Avnet Technology Solutions enterprise mobility.
