The North American components business of Arrow Electronics Inc. announced the worldwide availability of the ARM Cortex-M1 development kit.

The ARM Cortex-M1 development kit is a combination of technologies for the telecommunications, automotive and transportation, industrial and medical industries where high reliability is a requirement, Arrow said.

The kit is now available beyond the U.S. and Europe.

According to Arrow, it provides the tools and software to enable users to develop an embedded system based on the ARM Cortex-M1 processor and Altera Cyclone III field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
